    • ]]>     7-inch tablet with TFT display, Android 2.2, 1.0 GHz Cortex A8 processor, 16GB of on-board memory, 4000mAH battery, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi (up to N), a front-facing camera, GPS, an SD card slot.

    It’s smaller and lighter than iPad (370 gram) with almost the same resolution (1024×600). Unfortunately it doesn’t have rumored Super AMOLED display nor USB ports. DivX support is a big plus.

    Four versions of Adam will be launched, with PixelQi/LCD screen and WiFi/WiFi+3G. All versions will have b/g/n WiFi and true GPS. The expected price range is $399 – #$498.

    Notion Ink planning to submit Adam to the FCC in November or early December, and hopefully will launch tablet at the end of this year. Custom UI, “next generation” email system and content store is also in development.
