According to AnandTech, new Samsung tablets will have PLS screens. PLS technology is expected to be better than IPS and 15% cheaper. Viewing angle is excellent, as you may see in the video below:

I’m definitely will be getting Galaxy Tab 8.9 also due to following features:

• 1280×800 on 8.9 inches – 170ppi pixel density (iPad tops only 132ppi)
• Only 470 g, 16×23 cm – highly portable
• 8.6 mm thin
• $469 for WiFi version
